LAURA PERRY
Laura is a dedicated fitness professional with a CanFit Pro Personal Trainer Specialist certification earned in 2017. Her fitness journey began in 2015 when she experienced a significant loss, leading to a lifestyle change. She discovered her passion for powerlifting in 2016, excelling in the sport and proudly holding a world deadlift record with the World Raw Powerlifting Federation (WRPF) as well as two provincial records for deadlift and squat in Nova Scotia.

Laura is a weight neutral personal trainer - meaning that she likes to focus on non-appearance outcomes of fitness and recognizes the harm that diet culture has done to all of us and tries to show people that they have value and worth regardless of size or abilities.

Beyond her personal achievements, Laura has positively impacted many lives as a coach. Although Laura enjoys powerlifting, she has helped her clients achieve many goals including entry into police foundations, competitive paddle boarding, and helping individuals become stronger in everyday life. Her coaching philosophy focuses on creating a supportive and inclusive gym environment, empowering individuals of all backgrounds and fitness levels.
